Around one year back I became a proud grandfather so drawing parallels to learn a few important lessons from life! Starting a business is like planning a new-born baby who over time will grow at its own pace to create its unique identity.
a) EMOTIONS: – New business success rates are dismissal highlighting the need to start one only with serious emotional involvement!
b) COMMITMENT: – A child remains innocent, curious, full of energy with varied mood needing continuous attention and support to keep growing. Nurturing founders and well-wishers should allow the business to find its own path (like water).
c) SUCCESSION: – Passing of baton like a relay race will ensure both continuity and purpose of the entrepreneurial journey.
